A space for storytelling, hearing real stories from real people, and illuminating TB’s true impact on the lives of people in Treaty 8.
Welcome to the Digital Knowledge Exchange on the History of Tuberculosis in Treaty 8
Why is this important?
The Digital Knowledge Exchange is a space for hearing and sharing stories about tuberculosis (TB) in Treaty 8 Territory. History is made up of individual experiences. Every story builds knowledge and awareness, laying a pathway towards collective understanding about the past. The hope is to bring together people connected to Treaty 8, unified by a common goal of ending TB. Each story provides an opportunity to learn and raise awareness on the real impact TB has on the people of Treaty 8.
This Digital Knowledge Exchange forum is an on-going event focused on the History of Tuberculosis in Treaty 8.
We are bringing together communities, members, survivors, healthcare workers, historians, and social scientists to share their story in a safe virtual environment.
If you are from Treaty 8 territory and have a TB story, or know someone with a story, please use this submission form below to contribute to the knowledge exchange.
